When we first enter the faith, we are exposed to many versions of seeking out the Lord; alone, in church, dancing, crying and singing joyful as loud as our vocal chords allow. And still, we find Him not.
How can this be? We perform all the right steps, sing all the right hymns, read the scriptures daily. And still, nothing.
We were so busy with what our minds were thinking, with how our bodies were moving, with the sounds our voices were making, with how our hearts were feeling, that we left our spirit behind.
So how then can we hope to meet our Lord in the secret place? In the place beyond senses.
