About Pray & Fast Together

A Community Of Believers United In The Power Of Prayer And Fasting

GREETING: THIS SITE IS WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR IF YOU WANT TO:

First of all, I want to express my gratitude for you being here. Whether it's to submit a prayer, or to pray for others, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, and God bless you.

Because I value your time, I'll get straight to the point: I believe in the power of prayer. And if you're here, I assume you feel the same way too, or are at the very least curious. And that's perfectly fine too. Either way, you're very welcome.

Before I begin to ramble, let me clarify two things first:

1. This site was inspired through the deepening of my faith with my Lord and Saviour, Yeshua.

2. The purpose of this site is simply to spread some goodness in the world, because goodness knows we need it more than ever.

Thankfully, that can be fulfilled with just three people. You, dear reader, the one you pray for, and most important of all, our Lord above who binds it all together.

Psalm 127 — A song of ascents. Of Solomon.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."

Psalm 127:1 (NKJV)

So, thank you for being here again, because I know there are probably a thousand and one other things you could've spent your precious time doing. Instead you chose to come here, and to give up that time for someone else in need. For that, may God bless you abundantly, because as it says in the Bible, Jesus came to give life, and give it abundantly.

Here is my prayer for you:

WARNING: THIS SITE ISN'T A PLACE TO:

1. SIMPLY GAIN SYMPATHY OR FAVOUR

This isn't a popularity contest. Without putting your full faith and confidence in Yeshua, your prayer requests are in vain.

Psalm 127 — A song of ascents. Of Solomon.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."

Psalm 127:1 (NKJV)

2. DUMP UNFULFILLED PRAYERS WITHOUT GIVING BACK

Turn back now if you've come with false or unbiblical beliefs about Christ—our Lord and Saviour, who suffered, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again after three days so that we may have life abundantly.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

John 10:10 (NKJV)

Do not be deceived: the Lord isn't your personal yes man, and this site isn't Bruce Almighty (watch the film if you want to understand the reference). Jesus meets everyone exactly where they are, so be simple, sincere, and respectful to others. We are all made worthy through the sacrifice of Christ, who loves us dearly and has instructed us to do the same for others.

3. MAKE A MOCKERY OF GOD

I'm not speaking to the scorners, mockers, or haters of all that is good in Christ—this message applies to believers as well. Since this site exists to pray and uplift one another through difficult times, your heart posture matters most.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

For however long you decide to fast and pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ, do it first with the fear of the Lord and with all your heart. Treat it as a sacred covenant between you and God. As we know from Scripture, covenants are not to be taken lightly or trifled with.

Ask God for guidance and to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Approach Him with a patient and upright heart, and He will surely answer you.
